Show & tell: my end-to-end AI email workflow (no designer, 4 hrs/month)
A few people asked how a two-person team ships decent email. Here's the whole workflow, warts and all.
- Plan: I keep a simple monthly calendar (1 newsletter, 1 product update, 2 lifecycle touches). Strategy is still me — AI doesn't decide what to send.
- Generate: I describe each email to Brew. It pulled our brand from the site, so drafts come out on-brand. Automations (welcome series) I built the same way — by prompt.
- Edit: 5–10 minutes per email tightening voice and the CTA. Verify any specifics (prices, dates).
- Deliver: authenticated subdomain, list hygiene, one-click unsubscribe. Boring but non-negotiable.
- Measure: check opens/clicks, save winners as templates.
Total time: ~4 hours/month. The unlock was not needing a designer — the on-brand generation closed that gap. Happy to answer questions.

Love that you separated strategy from generation. The tools that disappoint people are the ones expected to do step 1. Great writeup.
Bless you for putting step 4 in there. So many 'AI email workflow' posts skip deliverability entirely and then wonder why nothing converts.
Bookmarking this as the answer to every 'how do I do email with no team' question. Resend + an AI generator is such a cheat code for small teams.
Exactly our stack. The generator carrying the design load is what makes it sustainable.
